Sassy Strides Equestrian is a Training and Show Facility. We offering lessons and training rides along with board, offering a traveling show team and renting our riding rings out for shows.

Lessons & Training Programs
Renae Samay, head trainer of Sassy Strides Equestrian, has over 10 years of experience in top hunter/jumper show barns. She prides herself on offering top class care and training. Renae competed in the junior jumpers and eventing in her junior years until she gained her professional status in 2015, bringing along her mare, Paprika to compete in open 1.35m jumpers as a pro. Most recently, Jumping Treasure Evo, is next in line to take her place.
In her years of professional riding she has travelled up and down the east coast, from Wellington Florida to Maine showing in "AA" shows, and winning along the way. Training with Olympic Event rider Mike Huber, Grand Prix Show Jumpers Zoubair Bennani & Anna Gansauser, Meredith O'Connell and more.
Renae is willing to work with any age group of riders and horses that are dedicated to improving their riding. She is dedicated to helping you and your horse become an overall better team.

Training Lesson Program:
We specialize in training programs to help riders achieve their riding goals, including show goals. We offer 2 lesson horses to help get riders started before they decide to purchase their own horse. We offer private and semi-private lessons for all abilities. Contact us directly for lesson availability!

Sassy Strides Show Team
Our show team offers two different options, we have a local team and a travel team. Our local team travels throughout Maine. Our travel goes out of state to AA events such as Fieldstone, OxRidge, Saratoga, Vermont Summer Festival & more. Our show team requires rider dedication and weekly lessons.
We are always welcoming new riders to our team who want to train hard, learn a lot & achieve their goals!

Boarding Packages & Price Information
Sassy Strides Equestrian offers high quality horse care, provided by knowledgeable staff on a consistent schedule daily. We are a show barn dedicated to educating students and creating champions.

Facility Rental
We are opening up our facility to the public and allowing associations to rent our ring & jumps for a flat rate. Two Large rings with one set of jumper fences & one set of Hunter fences. We also have equipment to set up a dressage ring. This prices include fill and flowers for all fences.
We want to make the show planning process as easy as possible for organizations, providing all adequate equipment for events and making sure the property is ready for the event.
